ACEEU is happy to announce that it partners with the Triple Helix Association and LaSalle University to host the 2023 Global Triple E Awards. The agreement followed a visit of the ACEEU leadership to LaSalle in July 2022 and extensive talks about the implementation of the event.

"Barcelona and LaSalle University provide a unique place to host the first Global Edition of the Triple E Awards. Together we will bring more than 400 people to the event, making it the place to be for entrepreneurship and engagement in 2023" says Professor Thorsten Kliewe, Chair of ACEEU.

Following the re-birth of the Triple E Awards after the Covid-19 break with the successful hosting of the 2022 European Awards in Florence, Italy, the decision was made that 2023 will be the year to host the Awards on a global scale for the first time.

While universities will still compete with other institutions in their region (North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific), all Awards will be handed over at a joint event in Barcelona, Spain. In other words, leaders in entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education from around the global will unite in one place and create a breeding ground to discuss and shape the future of higher education.
