Q: Which organisations are eligible?

Eligible are all Higher Education Institutions as well as related institutions (e.g. external TTO or incubator that is clearly related to a university) based in Europe.

The countries that can apply are: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

Q: Can any financial support be provided for travel and accommodation?

Unfortunately, the organisers are not able to provide any financial support for travel and accommodation.

Q: How do I submit an entry?

Please register at the application page. After your registration, you will receive your individual login details for our submission portal where you can hand in entries for all award categories. You can find the templates for your submission in the Categories Section.

Q: Can I nominate myself for an individual award (e.g. Entrepreneurial Leader of the Year, or Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year)?

Yes, you can nominate yourself, or be nominated by someone else. In the evaluation this does not make any difference. If you nominate someone else, please make sure that the nominated person agrees to the nomination and would be able to join the Ceremony in Barcelona. It would be sad for the nominee to miss the event (should this still happen, someone would have to join instead of the nominee).

Q: Can I submit multiple entries?

You can certainly submit multiple entries, even for one award category in case the submissions are clearly distinct from each other. Share the Awards with your colleagues to encourage participation across the institution.

Q: When is the deadline for submission?

The deadline for this year's submission is May 11, 2022.

Q: What are the evaluation criteria?

Each award category has its own evaluation criteria. You can find these criteria on the Award Categories page.
