IMPACT STORY

Impacting lifes

When I joined the University of Warsaw Incubator, my ambition was to make it to the cover of Forbes for providing the best entrepreneurship education in Poland. My friend Basia Holli recruited me and helped me realize this vision. This application is one of the milestones on this path.

As the head of the student project support department, I provide personalized support to students with business ideas, including those without a background in entrepreneurship. I offer one-on-one consultations to help them identify the core of their idea, available resources, and goals. I also recommend relevant courses, programs, and connect them with other students, experts, and mentors.

One of my significant achievements was the Mentoring Program, connecting 20 pairs of students with alumni mentors over six months. The program won an award in the "Super M" competition organized by the EMCC European Mentoring and Coaching Council Poland.

My role is voluntary, not part of the curriculum, and aimed at encouraging students to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. I support them in testing and validating their ideas to earn their first money, get clients, or learn from their failures.

Empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs is rewarding, and I'm excited to continue making an impact.

LEARNINGS

Lessons learned

I have learned that the most important qualities in the role of an entrepreneurial educator are empathy, honesty, trust-building, partnership, understanding, and the ability to establish long-term relationships.

Empathy is essential in understanding the needs and motivations of others, which allows better support and guidance. Honesty and trust-building are necessary to establish a foundation of transparency and accountability, creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas.

I believe that inspiring others is a key aspect of effective leadership. This can be achieved by sharing knowledge, interesting facts, recommending books, and connecting people with one another. By helping others to develop their skills and pursue their interests.

However, nothing of that matters if you won't follow one rule: to take care of yourself first. A good leader needs good sleep, and time to think, eat, read, drink coffee, and do hobbies. That is crucial if you want to support others and share a clear view with them!

FUTURE PLANS

What's coming?

As someone who is passionate about supporting aspiring entrepreneurs and students who want to change the world through their innovative ideas, my future plans revolve around building a comprehensive ecosystem of support to help them secure their first round of funding and bring their products and services to market.

My goal is to continue to expand the resources available to early-stage entrepreneurs and create a network of like-minded individuals who are committed to helping each other succeed. This includes providing access to mentorship, networking opportunities, and funding resources, as well as creating educational programs that focus on developing key skills such as listening, giving feedback, and motivation.

In addition to supporting others, I am also committed to my own personal growth and development. This includes a focus on expanding my knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices. I also aim to develop my skills as a listener and feedback provider, as I believe these are critical components to effective mentorship and leadership.

Ultimately, my goal is to inspire and motivate young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact on the world. The road to success is not an easy one, but by working together and supporting one another, we can achieve great things. I am excited to see what the future holds and look forward to continuing to play a role in shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs.
